A refundable deposit of £99 is required to confirm your order. Simply pay the deposit today and we will do the rest. Your new boiler can be unboxed, installed, tested and ready to heat your home in no time at all.

Peace of mind

Should you change your mind and decide not to proceed with buying a new boiler from MGS, we will simply refund your £99 deposit. The deposit will be taken off the final balance should you decide to go ahead and save money by changing to energy-efficient heating. We will just need to visit you at your convenience and all you need to do is just answer a few simple questions regarding your existing boiler and property.

We will keep you updated at every step of the way! Once you have purchased your new boiler we will just need to visit you at your convenience and carry out a survey to ensure that you are happy with your boiler choice and to ensure that the boiler is the perfect fit for your property.

A new boiler replacement (replacing your old combi with a new combi) is the most straightforward and cost-effective option. We will replace your existing boiler with a new energy efficient boiler, in the same position and flue hole. We only use the best Baxi, Glowworm and Main products and employ qualified Gas Safe Engineers to carry out our new boiler installations in the Morecambe Bay area.

Which type of fuel heats your home?

Natural Gas is piped directly to your house via a gas meter and is not bottled or stored in a tank. Whereas, LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) is piped directly from a bottle or a tank in the garden. You would normally have this delivered and you will not have a gas meter.

What type of boiler do you have?

Combi boiler - You have no hot water cylinder in your airing cupboard and a boiler that heats hot water as you turn on the tap. Usually, wall-mounted with flue going directly off the top of the boiler through the wall to the outside. Boiler with a hot water cylinder - Your gas boiler will be mounted on a wall somewhere in your home or garage and your hot water will be stored in an airing cupboard. Fire and back boiler - This is where your central heating boiler will be fitted into a chimney with a gas or an electric fire fitted to the front. You won't be able to see the boiler but you will hear it lighting when it comes on. You can normally see its pilot light and burner if you look beneath the fire. This type of system would work in conjunction with a separate hot water cylinder and is normally located in the airing cupboard. Separate boiler and water heater - This normally occurs when homeowners do not have central heating but had a multipoint water heater and then added central heating at a later date. This normally means you have two boilers, one for the radiators and one to heat hot water.

Do your current radiators have Thermostatic Radiator Valves?

Thermostatic Radiator Valves, also known as TRV’s are adjustable temperature controls designed to regulate how much hot water flows into a radiator. A huge benefit of adding TRV’s to radiators is that it will allow you to have more control over the temperature in each room and help create different heating zones throughout your home to save energy and money.

Where does your current flue terminate?

Find your boiler and look to see if you have a flue that starts at the top of the boiler and runs up through the ceiling. If so, you are likely to have a vertical flue. You can check this by looking to see if there is a flue terminal sticking up through your roof tiles. If you are unable to see the flue go vertically up through the ceiling, then it’s likely that your boiler flue goes through the wall to terminate directly on the other side of the wall. Once again you can check by looking outside.

A pitched/sloped roof is angular and most common. A flat roof is often found over an apartment block, garage or conservatory.
